Power of Two Marriage Review & Giveaway

“The best alternative to marriage counseling–online.”

Stop fighting. Build trust, intimacy & love. Developed by world-renowned couples psychologist Dr. Susan Heitler and proven in a scientific study to improve marriages.

Here are six reasons why the Power of Two is a great alternative to traditional marriage counseling…

You can start independently – Your spouse can join if and when they want to. Like any team sport, even if one player learns new skills the team gets better.

It is personalized for you – Your coach will recommend specific activities for you, respond to your questions by email, and keep encouraging you to succeed.

It’s affordable – At $18 per month, it’s just a fraction of the cost of marriage counseling online or in person. We’d rather you spend your money on having fun together.

It’s always available – No need to schedule an appointment. Unlike with marriage counseling, online activities can be done anytime…at the end of your lunch break or just before bed.

It’s private and confidential – Discussing one’s personal life with a total stranger isn’t for everyone. Unlike marriage counseling, online you’re in control. Go at your own pace and get answers from your coach when you want them.

It’s fun and interactive – Improving your relationship doesn’t have to be serious. Unlike marriage counseling, online activities are short, interactive and entertaining.

I am not embarrassed to admit that my husband and I have been to marriage counseling.  We used to go once and week and had to get a babysitter for our five children.  We weren’t at the brink of divorce and there wasn’t a specific issue, but thing just weren’t the same as when we were first married and we needed a little help.  Other than the time spent driving there (45 minutes) and the cost ($125 each time) it was fine and it really helped get us back on track.  I only wish I had known about the Power of Two then!  I could’ve saved a ton of money, gas, and time!  Plus, I love that you can do everything at your own pace instead of having a set appointment each week.  The activities are fun, the videos are entertaining and it is helping just as much as our counselor we used to go to.  I am excited to continue working through this program with my husband and would recommend it to anyone who wants to fall in love with their spouse all over again!

I think we could use some work in the way that we discuss things, which can turn into an argument and end up being a very ineffective way to deal with the issue at hand.
