When I married an Italian, it didn’t occur to me that I would not be allowed to bring anything into the house that had the word Ragu on it! I quickly learned that his grandma’s red sauce was the greatest thing in the world and that it is okay to have lasagna for Christmas dinner! I was a little worried when I brought a new “red sauce” into the house that it was immediately going to be rejected, but luckily he gave it a chance….and ended up liking it!
