I received Etymotic hf5 earphones to review. I had been looking for something that would block out the background noise from my kids, TV, etc for when my husband gives me some time in the evenings to work on my blog posts. The Etymotic hf5 earphones are really different then any earphones I’ve tried before as they have a really unique tip that blocks outside noise from entering into your ear with it’s seal design. When you put in the earphones you push and twist to create that sound barrier seal in a way that is similar to earplugs. They feel a bit strange at first as I don’t usually choose earbud style of earphones and when I have, I never pushed them deep into my ear canal. They do block out a ton of noise though and they deliver very clear sound and are really nice earphones! Most the time my husband will nap these from me to use while he is working from home so he can drown out any background noise and stay focused on his work at hand.
