Yube has created a customizable storage system that is easy to put together and personalize! Their storage cubes come with 4 sides that snap together as well as a slide-in back. Each corner is reinforced with a steel frame lock and corner clips that create a rigid structure. Then, you are able to arrange and stack your individual Yube cubes to create the shape and configuration that works best for your space. You can also add on doors, shelves and cubby baskets to personalize your look!
Yube’s design is completely sustainable with outer panels made from Sugarcane’s remainder after it has been juiced. They turn the sugarcane stalks into pulp and reuse and press it to form the Yube panels. Then, the frames of Yube are made from Woodlite, which is a mix of non-toxic moldable plastic and Bamboo. Each individual Yube unit is 14.17″ cubed (13″ internal cube). You can even use their Yube Customizer tool where you can build and design your configuration along with any accessories and see your total and layout before you buy! This tool makes it easy to figure out what configuration will be best for you and your space. You can also browse their predesigned sets available in the store with options like a coffee table, wall unit, and Media storage stand!
I was able to review Yube’s Bathroom Cabinet configuration. This set includes 4 Yubes, a set of feet, a set of (2) polyglass shelves, 2 polyglass doors and a set of drawers. It was really easy to set up my Yube unit as each of the sides were simple to just snap together and slide in the back panel. The front steel metal clips were a little bit harder, but not much with the help of the corner clips used to keep the steel frame lock in place. The Yube cubes do have a unique smell and at one point I thought I kept thinking I was smelling a distant wood based fire. I even had to get up to check! Then, when I sat back down I realized it was the Yube! It didn’t smell bad and I haven’t noticed the smell at all 24 hours later but when I had piles of the cubes all around me being assembled it surprised me.
I have been using my Yube Cube as an organizer near my desk to store and collect my review projects! It fits great right next to my desk and makes it simple to reach in and grab anything I might need. The storage shelf has such a nice modern look that it would look great in any room of your home. I really like the drawers as they are deep and long which makes them great for holding my smaller items. They’d be perfect in a bathroom for beauty products and hair brushes!
