Shirley’s Prepackaged Crafts Review & Giveaway

Shirley’s Prepackaged Crafts is a monthly craft subscription company that features crafts for homeschooling parents and mothers of preschoolers. Their goal is to help parents spend time with their little ones by making it easy to enjoy time together without the need for prep or planning. The kits are christian faith based and created by a mother of 4 boys!

The kit each month is based on a color and a shape and if you continue through a school year your child can assemble a book of special pages, one from each month, that are based on a theme. This year’s special book project theme is “God’s Children Around the World” and focuses on teaching a bit about different countries and cultures. Each month includes an explanation letter, calendar, and all the elements you need for the crafts. You will need to supply your own scissors, stapler, glue, tape, and crayons for the crafts.

Shirley's Prepackaged Crafts Review

We have had a great time this past month working on our October kit! The kit included crafts that my boys were actually INTERESTED in and really enjoyed putting together! With activities to cut, glue, color, practice handwriting, make puzzles, and more! Most of the activities had an element to them that was actually interactive instead of just “color this” but really a project with an educational based theme! While crafting, it also gave us a chance to just chat and enjoy some time together with me and my older two boys while they concentrated on their projects. It was nice to have NO fighting, arguing or whiny for a bit! These kits would be perfect for homeschooling but are also great for parents looking for a way to connect and enjoy time together with their children!

Shirley's Prepackaged Crafts Review

We are looking forward to enjoying our November box throughout this month! The November kit includes activities around veteran’s day, thanksgiving, and this month’s theme of blue and rectangles.

To order a Shirley’s Prepackaged Crafts kit, orders must be placed prior to the 15th of the month prior to the box you’ll be receiving. This allows for shipping time for your box to arrive early in the month and also to keep prices low by not requiring an inventory of kits kept on hand. To order a December Box of Crafts the cutoff date is 11/15. A single box of crafts costs $18 or you can purchase a 3-month subscription for $52.50 and enjoy free shipping.
