Rubbermaid has a whole new spin on storage! Their new Bento Boxes and Toppers offer a flexible storage solution that helps to divide and conquer clutter! Rather than just one more place to STASH your stuff, think of these Bento Boxes as a place to really get organized and create a “home” for your things! The Bento Boxes feature Flex Dividers that let you customize the inside of the box by popping out the dividers when needed, or pop them back away when not needed. The toppers can be used as a lid or as a tray. Store the topper one way to hide all the contents or flip it around to be used as a tray to collect incoming mail, keys, hold magazines, or whatever uses you come up with! This flexible and gorgeous storage solution lets you be creative with your storage! Use them to store video games, movies, mail, toys, beauty products, board games, crafts, office supplies, you name it!

I received a full set of Rubbermaid’s Bento Boxes to review! We received one of each of their 4 sizes from small up to X-Large! It has been great thinking about the areas of my home that really seem to attract clutter and try to tackle those areas and bring in a storage solution! I started with the X-Large box and converted it to be my craft storage! It now is neatly holding all my sewing and snap items along with all my fabric that is waiting to be worked on. I love that I can use the box as a lid while these items are neatly stored away and then when I go to start a project I have a handy tray to keep all my sewing items in so they don’t get misplaced and are easy to move with me if I have to move to a different work area! The Medium box has filled a need by my fridge where things ALWAYS seem to land. Just having the Bento Box there has given me a place to set things neatly in the tray and I’ve been able to keep the piles off the counter by not allowing more than can neatly fit in the tray to rest there.

The Small Bento Box works great for bathroom storage and I quickly scooped up my husband’s hygiene products that are ALWAYS left scattered around his sink and gave them a home in this storage box! He’s done better at picking up after himself, but I still get the job more often than not. At least it’s easy for me to put his things away now and he knows where he’ll be able to find them when I do put them away. Rubbermaid’s Large Bento box has become my “inbox”. As a review blogger I get a variety of things in the mail and before I find them a permanent home, this bento box has been the dropping zone! With the lid being used as a tray I have a neat place to store important paperwork that comes along with my review samples and the products as well are safely stored out of my boys curious hands!

Rubbermaid has some great tips for making storage work for you! Create Organized Active Storage, which means storing items in the place where they are frequently used!! First, determine where you need improvement by asking questions such as “What am I constantly looking for everyday?” Then, take a step back and explain what’s not working. Why don’t you put away your keys in the designated spot? Finally, be creative and figure out a solution to store those items where you are using them every day!
