Rafflecopter’s Updated Widget! Plus, $25 Amazon GC Giveaway!

In this blog post, you’ll have a chance to win a $25 gift card to Amazon. It’s a brand new Rafflecopter form, and it’s super-easy to enter.  I’ve been chosen to help Rafflecopter test this new widget, so any feedback you can provide me or Rafflecopter would be fantastic!

There are many benefits to this new Rafflecopter form, but the biggest improvement will be that Rafflecopter will no longer rely on cookies as a means of tracking your entries. They’re introducing a sign-in system… you can either sign in with your Facebook account or your name and email address.

There are many other features/improvements of the new widget over the old one, which will be TBA! But for now, enter below, leave us your feedback, and let us know if you see anything that’s confusing or buggy. The purpose of this test isn’t to fully promote the new widget, but to test it’s functionality in the wild and get some feedback before we start letting everyone get access to it.

Giveaway ends Friday at 12:01am EST. This giveaway is being hosted across several blogs and the winner will be selected and notified by Rafflecopter. Good luck!

*** GIVEAWAY CLOSED***

Disclosure: I was not compensated in any manner for co-hosting this giveaway.

I could log in with my name & email but got “Unresponsive Script” warnings after that and nothing ever loaded.  :(

I honestly don’t know if I entered or not. I clicked log in with FB, and the button changed color then went back exactly like it was. I tried entering with email, and it took it, but nothing happened after that. I hope I’m entered.

I entered on Simply Stacie blog and this widget knows!  I think that’s awesome. :)

The only additional feedback I have is that I'd be great if we could see all entries, not just a partial list–as well as the complete entry for each. Another wishlist item is that the Rafflecopter keep an undoable and displayable "pick a winner" feature, so that bloggers can't keep selecting a winner until they like one. If, for example, a new winner has to be selected, the widget will display that.

Of course, I'm not referring to your site, but there has always been a certain level of suspicion and doubt about whether giveaways at some blogs are on the up and up. These features would alleviate that.

    Thanks!

I like this, but I like my anonymity. I don't mind signing in through Facebook, but I would like to have a choice as to what name I want displayed on the Rafflecopter widget.
