Animoto is a really neat website that automatically creates high quality videos from your photos, video clips, music, and even text! It works in just three simple steps – choose your images, add music, and then watch and share! You can upload images directly from your computer or sync with your online albums on Facebook, Flickr, Picasa, Photobucket or SmugMug. Your video is then simple to share with their one click buttons for sharing on Facebook, YouTube, and many others! They even provide a simple embed code.
I’ve been using Animoto for lots of things already! I made two video contest entries, a Christmas video, and I’m even working on a blog video to promote my website! Animoto is SO easy to use that you literally just upload the videos and click “Create”! Once you view the video you can make changes to it like shifting around the pictures or adding text and then it’s just as easy to again hit create and wait for your video to be made for you and ready to view in about a minute! I’ve had so much fun with the different layouts and I have really liked the music options as well! Animoto is a cool way to send a digital Christmas card this year that will save you time, money, and hassle leaving you with an awesome video slideshow instead of just one or two pictures.
Animoto has a free lite plan that lets you create up to 30 second videos. If you want to make longer videos you can upgrade to their plus membership for just $5/month or $30/year. This plan also lets you download your video clips! If you need even more features such as higher quality video in 720p or included licensed music available to use and exclusive video styles you can upgrade to their pro account for $39/month or $249/year. You can compare their plans to see which one is best for you!
