We received a 5′ x 8′ rug from Mohawk Home to review. It was so much fun to browse their selection and pick out a rug! They have so many gorgeous styles that it was hard to decide. I ended up deciding on their Multicolor Casual Area Rug. I loved that it was made up of a variety of colors so I felt like I wouldn’t get bored of it easily but it was still neutral so I could change up my room’s color without worrying about matching with my rug. Plus, I thought the design was something my kids would think was fun and interesting and still be nice to look at for us adults! I absolutely love the color and fun the rug has brought into our room!
Just as I had hoped, my boys really love this rug as well! The day it arrived my oldest grabbed his hot wheels cars and drove on the rug like a car track! I love that it has translated into a play rug while not needing to be bright or bold primary colors filled with kids designs! I love all the different colors and how it’s woven in with the circle’s lower lines throughout the rug. It really makes for such an interesting design to look at. This rug is very soft and cozy as well so I find that I’m sitting on the floor more to play board games or blocks with my kids. The edges of the rug do fray a bit, but I think that is from it being brand new and as the loose edge pieces are removed I don’t think we’ll notice that as much anymore.
