MindWare is a creator and manufacturer of fun Brainy Toys for kids of all ages! One of the fun and inventive products they carry is a new spin on traditional Marble Race Tracks. It’s called Q-BA-MAZE and it lets you built a totally unique and custom maze track. The configurations are unlimited! The set comes with 3 different types of tracks, a straight fall block, a block that sends the balls in only one direction, and finally a track that can send the ball in one of two directions, as randomly chosen when the ball falls. This allows for a surprise of where the ball will go!

Q-BA-MAZE Marble Track Review

We were able to review their Big Box set! My boys have LOVED making tracks and especially releasing the marbles down our creative shapes we’ve created! We came up with all sorts of shapes and designs! My favorite was a staircase that went around and around and ended up as tall as my boys! Another fun design was a straight free fall drop about 8 blocks that was really fun for them! Another of our designs started with one central spot to place the balls and by the end the balls would exit out of one of the 6 different end blocks! They loved figuring out which path the balls would take. They both are a little bit young to have figured out the mechanics and how to make a path that would correctly lead from one block to another. My 5 year old can put them together, but he doesn’t pay attention to which way the ball will naturally exit each block to continue his path from. Q-BA-MAZE has been really fun and a great family activity to enjoy together!

MindWare Q-BA-MAZE

You can find Q-BA-MAZE through MindWare. It retails for $24.95 for a starter box or $39.95 for a Big Box set.

Disclosure: I received two sets of Q-BA-MAZE for free in order to try the product and form an opinion for this review. I was not compensated in any other manner. The opinions expressed above are my own and any claims should be verified on the sponsor’s site.
