We received a Penguins on Ice Math Activity Set to review. I grew up learning math with those snap-together cubes where we would practice addition, subtraction, counting by 10 and other concepts. To me, those blocks were an extremely helpful learning tool so I was so excited when I saw this extremely cute spin off the traditional cube counting systems. These penguins are absolutely adorable and since they come in 10 different colors they can also be used for patterns and sequences as well! I absolutely love this set! It is really easy for both my 3 and 5 year old boys to use and such a colorful and fun concept that they love playing with it! I’ll start a pattern for my 5 year old and he loves filling in and finishing off the pattern. We’ve worked on both addition and subtraction as well and I feel the visualization has made a huge impact on him picking up those skills!
