We were able to review two different Howard B. Wigglebottom books and my kids absolutely adored them both! The first one we read was Howard B. Wigglebottom and the Monkey on His Back. (my kids picked it because of the cute title) It ending up being the perfect fit for my 7-year-old who has a tendency to “stretch” the truth! The questions throughout the book kept my kids interested and they were able to learn how important it is to tell the truth. The second book was Howard B. Wigglebottom Blends in Like Chameleons. The lesson about blending in was also perfect for my 2nd grader who, at the age of seven, already feels pressured to fit in. In the back of each book there are discussion questions to continue the conversation. I really enjoyed both books and am now starting my own collection! The messages relayed in every Howard B. Wigglebottom book are fantastic and these books would be perfect for anyone with children!
