“The Middle Earth Paradigm†from Season 1 of The Big Bang Theory airs Monday 9/26. In the episode, the gang attends a costume party in Penny’s apartment.  Penny dresses as a cat, Sheldon dresses as the doppler effect, Leonard is Frodo from Lord of the Rings, Howard is Robin Hood but gets mistaken for Peter Pan and Raj is Thor, the Norse god of thunder. Each costume is interesting for each character (Raj, the quietest of the group, is the god of thunder). What do the costumes say about each character to you? In your opinion who wins the costume contest?
Sheldon’s costume was so far “out there” for a costume that it seemed to match him perfectly! As he tried to explain what his costume was to the group it was clear no one knew what he was talking about, which seems normal for him. Penny’s costume came across flirty. I loved when all the men came out to show off their costumes and were all in MATCHING costumes! That was funny! As Leonard runs of from the group claiming Frodo it was hilarious that they all were bummed they hadn’t claimed it first! My favorite of the costumes though was Howard’s Robin Hood! It does closely resemble Peter Pan as well though!
