I was able to review Sleep Innovations Dual Layer 4″ Mattress Topper and selected their queen size for my son’s bed. We also use that bed for our guests when they come into town. Our mattress is okay but it is hard and tends to dip towards the center so you would naturally roll inward toward each other making it a difficult bed to share. I was hoping the mattress topper would make that a non-issue and also make the mattress soft and comfortable. I was incredibly impressed! Our bed is now so soft and comfortable and it absolutely solved the rolling problem! In fact I laid down to try out the bed and read for a while and it was so cozy I dozed off and enjoyed a very relaxing nap! The mattress topper is a combination of 2″ of Memory Foam topped with 2″ of Polyester fiberfill. I love the combination as the top feels so soft and cushy but you still have the layer of foam which truly does relieve the weight of your body resting on the points of contact against the mattress. The mattress topper fits over your mattress like a fitted sheet and the foam zips below the fiberfill section. The topper is machine washable.

I also was able to try their Rejuvenation Memory Foam Pillow! It has a built-in neckroll in the center of the pillow that leads to a sloped shoulder support that relieves pressure from your neck and chest. This design gives you the ideal sleeping angle for keeping your airways open for a solid night’s sleep. This also helps to provide more REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep cycles for a more sound nights sleep. My typical pillow is just a cushion with no real support. It was difficult for me to get used to this pillow the first few days as the pillow is firm despite its ability to conform to my head. After the first couple of nights I was used to the pillow and slept very comfortably with it. The pillow is made for both side and back sleepers. I almost always sleep on my side but found myself inclined to roll onto my back to sleep. I think I actually sleep much more soundly when I do naturally roll onto my back as my shoulder and side don’t have any pressure against them!
