Peaceable Kingdom has some really creative and fun sticker kits at a surprisingly affordable price, under $10 and many even under $5! These sticker kits and projects can offer a ton of playtime and encourage creativity. With several types of kits too choose from and a wide variety of themes and fun characters there is bound to be something for everyone.
We were able to review their Quick Sticker Kits that include a mini project your child can assemble and then decorate with the included stickers. My boys love cars so I thought they would really enjoy the Speedway Race Cars set! It included two separate cars so they each could have their own to build! Some of the parts and pieces were hard for them to figure out but they enjoying trying anyways and liked decorating their cars as well. Though really, they both just couldn’t wait to actually RACE each other with their cars! This would have been a fun project for my 4 year old to build on his own as he was able to do all the parts himself once I pulled out the little slits in the cardboard pieces. My boys LOVED the Scratch & Sniff stickers and their scents were really high quality and very true to each fruit pictured! They couldn’t get enough of scratching them and telling me, “Mom – smell THIS one!”
We also got to try out their United States Map Sticker Pack from the Reusable Sticker Totes line. This sticker pack has won two toy awards including the Creative Child Awards 2010 Toy of the Year award! It features a 12.5″ by 18.75″ map of the United States along with 50 reusable vinyl cling stickers packaged in a tote box for easy storage. It is geared for children as young as three and with no reading required is is the perfect way to start to introduce geography to your children! I have been wanting to start teaching my 4.5 year old his states and we have family across the country and he’s always ask where they live. We all had a great time playing a “puzzle” like game with the pieces and even my 2.5 year old did a really great job matching the pieces which very little help! They liked checking out all the fun images on each state that represented things important to the state such as our Arizona Cactus and Washington Apples! I thought this kit was a really great way to encourage learning and play at the same time! I also think this kit would be perfect for a little bit older child to play a license plate game on a road trip!
