I checked out the Green It Yourself series with Carter Oosterhouse as hosted on Green Works Facebook page. He shares a lot of tips on how you can green up your Kitchen. He had some really good tips but my favorite tip was to start using a composter! I have thought about composting but never gone beyond just thinking about it. This tip really made it seem simple though. He used a compost system to dispose of food waste and be able to create fertilizer for the garden, which would be perfect as we do garden!
