The One Step diaper system fits from 6-34 pounds and has an adjustable rise. It has 2 snaps in the back to hold the snap it diaper in place and hook and loop closure that gives a tight fit on the waist. The outer fabric is a lightweight knit that is soft to the touch, but it does snag easily. This diaper works as an All in Two as there is no stuffing or folding, just lay the insert in place, and snap it in the back. The cover can be reused if not soiled and just replace the soaker. While we didn’t have any leaks with this diaper there were a couple things that I just didn’t love with this diaper. The velcro tabs stick out like crazy and the outer fabric has a lot of pulls on it from being snagged in the washing machine. The tabs also didn’t stay connected to the laundry tabs very well.

I was given the chance to review 2 of Sage Diaper’s new products! Their Sure Fit Pocket Diaper and their One Step diaper system. Baby’s Organic Nursery came about in 1983 and started with their diaper covers they still make today. Since then they have evolved with the times and now make pocket and one sized diapers. Their products are made in the US.
The Sure Fit Pocket Diaper is a 2 sized system that adjusts to fit several rises and widths for each size. Size one is made for 5-20 lbs and size 2 will fit from 18-40 lbs. This gives you an extended period of use to be able to use a “one-size” like diaper on even smaller babies and larger toddlers. It also eliminates the extra bulk and wide crotch area of a typical one-sized diaper. It can be used as an All in Two diaper or a Pocket diaper and has 2 snaps in the back to hold the insert in place. This diaper also has elastic near the waist to prevent leaks. It is a side snapping diaper which gives better adjustment to snap appropriately for the waist and legs separately. I LOVED the Sure Fit Diaper. I have been using it since my newborn was just a week old and it gives a great fit on a newborn. It was by far the best fitting diaper I owned for a newborn and I even have sized small diapers I was using as well. I love the hemp insert as it was sewn in separate pieces and connected at the ends so it dries much quicker but is still super absorbent and I don’t have to dig and match pieces. I also love that this diaper snaps on the side! This was a great diaper for us and we haven’t had any leaks!
Sage Diaper also sells fitted diapers and covers as well as other accessories such as liners, doublers, swim diapers, and more. You can even purchase diapering packages such as their Birth to Potty Package for just $295. Or sample packages to introduce you to their diapers! If you head back and make a diaper package purchase within 90 days you’ll be refunded 50% off the cost of your sample pack as well!
