My Baby Nest is the only carrier that gives support to a premature or newborn baby from birth up through 35 pounds. It comes as two loops and a belt as well as a matching carrying bag. This carrier allows you to carry your baby in a variety of positions including the Hip Carry, Nursing Cradle, Forward Facing, on your Back, or Tummy to Tummy. I thought, at first, that the My Baby Nest was very confusing to put on. It has two loops that you put one on over each shoulder and every time I found myself very confused as to which shoulder the other would need to go over. Then I read the instructions and all of a sudden it was SO simple to put on! You just place both loops together over your head, separate them, and place one arm through each hole – simple! I can seriously put the carrier on and have the baby in within just a few minutes. I LOVED this as a carrier for my newborn! It held my infant so close to me and I liked that the material was thin instead of really thick and stuffy. It’s already very warm here in Phoenix and carrying a baby against you doesn’t help at all so it’s nice to have something so lightweight. It also has a lot of give and stretch to it so it is very comfortable. I tried both the cradle hold and the tummy to tummy hold. I was able to nurse with the cradle hold, though it was difficult for me to get him latched and to stay that way. I really liked the tummy to tummy hold and think that was my infants favorite position as well. I had the loops pulled way more supportive over him then shown in the instructions though. I’m not sure that I would use this wrap as much for an older child but I absolutely loved the carry it gave for a newborn!
