Autism Speaks is a charity that raises money to spread awareness and fund research for Autism. They recently released this attention grabbing video clip that speaks out about how close to home Autism is getting. With Autism now being diagnosed in 1 out of 110 children (and even higher ratio of boys – 1 in 70) this message really does speak loud and clear!
They have a quick QUIZ as well about “Autism Truths & Myths”. See how well you can score. I got 6 out of 8 right, I had no idea boys were more likely than girls to be diagnosed!
