We got to test them out for real though once we had somewhere to go and I thought they were nice! First off I need to mention Nate is not really asleep in the picture, but every time I tried to take a picture of him he would pretend to sleep! I guess he gets the point of the the pillow! The Travel Buddies fit both my nearing 4 year old and my 20 month old great though! My only complaint was the lion has a tail that goes straight up and right into their face! I think we have to get it used to laying downward so it’s not in his face. Other than that I thought they were very soft, VERY cute and really easy for the kids to use and even put on themselves! Tyler is still rear facing in his car seat so he didn’t really need it as his seat is at more of a recline and so his head rests much more naturally when he falls asleep in the car seat. Nate on the other hand always looks very uncomfortable when he falls asleep in his car seat – which is on just about any drive over 10-15 minutes! The Travel Buddies would be GREAT for long airplane flights as they fit a child so well! When we flew to Hawaii a year ago we bought a blow up one for the flight and it was way to big for Nate who was nearing 3 at the time and it was just awkward and uncomfortable for him!
The frog Bag Buddies we received is so cute!! He makes the perfect travel friend as he is little so not a lot to lug around while traveling, but big enough to play with and enjoy. He also has a really neat grip on the top that you lace one side through the other and then it sticks to itself, similar to a Velcro, but none of it is the grabby feeling texture. He matched the frog Travel Buddies perfectly and made such a cute pair! They would be great to give as a gift as a set!
