Our first time trying it out we went to the Zoo and I strapped the No Throw to the stroller and then around the Sippy cup. I was surprised at how well it held it!! The Take ‘n Toss cups go downward at an angle and don’t have any handles so I wasn’t sure if the No throw would slip right off but it worked perfectly!!! It held on great and didn’t once lose hold of the sippy cup! My 18 month old held onto the sippy cup most of the time but once in a while he would drop it and it would hang from the stroller, just off the ground. It was so nice! I was able to just stop at the next exhibit and hand the cup back to my toddler. I didn’t have to stop right away and fetch it off the ground and worry about what dirt and germs were now on the cup at all! We also used it on our walks with one on the stroller and one of the bike! By then he had learned he can reach and grab the cup himself. This first picture you can see him retrieving his own cup! (This strap is black and red, so it is harder to see.)
The No Throw’s were VERY simple to use! I didn’t even look at the directions to see if I could figure it out without and I was able to, and very quickly. First you attach the No Throw to whatever you want it to stay attached to – stroller, shopping cart, high chair, whatever. You push the loop end around a pole or handle or whatever you can find and then you thread the velcro end through the loop and pull tight which firmly attaches the No Throw. Then you use the velcro end around your sippy cup. With the velcro it is adjustable so it should work with most any cup!
